Repairable Vehicle Pad

The Repairable Vehicle Pad panel sets if a repairable vehicle pad spawns repaired or damaged on the server. It shows when you select a repairable vehicle pad.

A repairable vehicle pad is the pad a vehicle spawner spawns its vehicles on, when players must rebuild it first. Rust has one: the Airwolf helipad, airwolf_helipad.repairable, for the airwolfspawner. See Vehicle Vendor.

In Rust, a vehicle spawner uses the pad within 5 meters of the spot where it spawns its vehicles. While the pad is damaged, the vendor does not sell. Players repair the pad with a hammer.

Repaired sets how the pad starts on the server:

  • On: the pad spawns repaired, so the vendor sells at once.
  • Off: Rust's own start. The pad is damaged while the server setting vehicle.padrepairsrequired is on, which is Rust's default. With that setting off, Rust spawns every pad repaired.

The scene view shows the pad the way the switch says: the repaired pad, or the damaged one at its first build stage.

warning

The pad needs the RustEdit 2 server extension, and the map must be exported with Entities set to In RustEdit data. See Export Map.

Can edit several selected objects at once.
