Terrain Chunk
RustEdit PlusThe Terrain Chunk panel picks which piece of ground a terrain chunk puts onto the terrain, and how that ground meets the map around it. It shows when you select a terrain chunk.
- Pick a Kind first, such as Mountains or Islands. The Chunk list then shows the chunks of that kind.
- Mode decides where the chunk's height wins over the map's height.
- Fade sets how wide the soft edge is.
The ground changes as soon as you pick a new value. To make a chunk wider, change its X and Z scale. To make it taller, change its Y scale.
The Chunk Terrain panel below this one has the switches for each map and Bake. For how to place, move, size and make your own chunks, see Terrain Chunks.
