IO Ports
The IO Ports panel lists the IO inputs and outputs of a placed monument, with what each is wired to on the map. It shows when you select a placed monument that has IO ports.
The monument's Inputs and Outputs are cards, each with the port's name and what it is wired to on the map:
- On an output, click Connect, then click the IO entity to wire it to.
- On an input, the card shows the IO entity whose wire comes in. Wire it from that IO entity's own output, or drop a wire on the monument.
- Click Disconnect to take a wire out.
- Double-click the IO entity on a card to select it.
The panel shows only on a monument placed directly in what you have open. The ports of a monument placed inside another placed monument are wired inside the outer monument.
The map saves the wires by the ports' names. When the monument's file changes, the wires go back on the ports of the same names. See IO Ports.
Can edit several selected objects at once. This panel is only shown in some cases.
