Placement Blocker

A Placement Blocker is a monument attribute: Rust's own placement blocker, in your monument. When Rust's map generator spawns the monument, the ground in the circle is marked as taken. Monuments, decor and roads that the generator places later keep out of it. The panel shows when you select a blocker in an open monument. Add one from the Procedural folder of the Content Browser.

Radius sets the circle. Fade adds a soft edge outside it, and the inner half of that edge is blocked too. Both grow with the monument's scale. A new blocker has a Radius of 10 meters: at 0 it blocks nothing.

In the scene view, a blocker is a small diamond with a circle at its Radius, and a fainter circle where the Fade ends.

A blocker only counts when the generator places the monument. On a monument you place by hand, it does nothing.
