Placeholder Renderer
The Placeholder Renderer panel shows when you select a placeholder: a prefab that has nothing to see in the game, such as a spawner, a trigger or a sound emitter. RustEdit draws a simple shape for it, so you can see and pick it. This panel sets how that shape looks. See Placeholders.
The look belongs to the prefab, not to one object. A change applies at once to every copy of that prefab in the scene and to copies you place later. RustEdit saves it in Configuration/placeholders.json next to the app, not in your map, so it applies to every map you open.
Type only shows for placeholders that have no shape of their own. Placeholders that take their shape from the prefab (its mesh, box or sphere) do not have it. Wireframe draws the shape as lines; turn it off for a solid shape. Color sets the color. For a solid shape, the color's alpha sets how see-through it is. A wireframe is always drawn at full strength.
Can edit several selected objects at once.
