Monument Terrain
The Monument Terrain panel controls the terrain a placed monument puts onto the map. It shows when you select a placed monument whose file saves terrain. It does not show for an unpacked monument, or for a monument placed inside another placed monument: the outer monument's saved terrain already holds that one's terrain.
The terrain is live. It moves, turns and scales with the placed monument, and it goes away when you delete it. It is faded into the map by the monument's blend map. See Linked monuments.
There is one Apply switch for each map the monument file saves. Maps the file does not save have no switch. A newly placed monument has every switch on. Turn a switch off to leave that map alone where the monument stands.
Bake writes the terrain of the maps that are on into the map's own terrain, then turns the switches off. After a bake, the ground stays where it is when you move or delete the monument. Bake before you unpack a monument if you want to keep its ground.
Bake is one undo step. Ctrl+Z takes the baked terrain back out of the map and turns the switches back on as they were.
Can edit several selected objects at once. This panel is only shown in some cases.
